Areas on certain streets are dark and are inviting to the criminal element. If you have outside lights, turn them on.  If you have a post light, do your part to keep it lit. Aside from replacing the bulb, there are a couple of things to remember:

The sensor that turns the light on when it gets dark outside can go bad and may need to be replaced.  Check with a local electrical store or Lowes for replacement and directions on how to do it. Remember to shut the power off before unscrewing the sensor.

The post light is on the same line with the GFI plug on the front of the house.  If the GFI plug trips, the light will not work. Check the GFI plug on the front of your house and try resetting it, also alternate location for a GFCI outlet could be in your garage.

REMEMBER TO SEEK OUT A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN FOR PROPER ELECTRICAL HELP AND ADVICE.  DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY OF THESE TASKS UNLESS YOU ARE QUALIFIED
